Trinidade is a self-portrait parodic project, created originally to participate to the yearly print collective raise-fund show from the Atelier Circulaire (Montreal, Canada). In this experience combining stamping and silk screen techniques, the artist seeks to merge together multiples personalities: using his own face as the support for the subject, the artist associates the European Jesus Christ representation with Andy Warhol's Marylin x 100 (1962).
Trinidade is a neologism, created by miss-typing the actual Portuguese word Trindade (Trinity in english). This writing error was incorporated as a joyful accident that contributes to the ambiguity present in the project.
