This project is a series of unique abstract compositions realized from actual travel prints that have accompanied the artist in the trajectory between two international airports: GRU which is the Guarulhos-Sao Paulo starting point and YUL which is Pierre-Eliot Trudeau-Montreal, the final destination. However, a last minute change added LIM (Lima in Peru) and MIA (Miami in U.S.A.) to the total flight experience.
All those geographic landmarks, in four airports and two continents become the representation of the geographic gap that constitutes the artist's hybrid identity living in a different culture rather the one he was born at. The travel-airport imagery (typography, airfare logos, designed packaging and travel prints) is the objective and temporary visual universe that furnishes the imaginary during this privileged and non-ecological migratory process.
All prints are available for purchase. Inquiries by the Contact page.
